Types of tests on Successfied

Full mocks in three levels, sectional and topic tests, official PYQ mocks, Live mocks, Mistake Retests, custom tests and the Daily Sprint.

Full mocks

Full mocks follow the exam's official pattern: the same sections, number of questions, time and marking. They come in three levels:

LevelWhat it's for
BasicBuilding confidence and covering the syllabus. More easy and medium questions.
IntermediateMatching the real exam's level as closely as we can.
AdvancedHarder than the exam: more multi-step questions, more tempting wrong options and more time pressure.

Within one exam's mock series, no question is repeated from one mock to another. Every question has a difficulty level from D1 (direct recall) to D5 (topper level, combining several concepts).

Sectional tests

One section at a time, with its official number of questions and time. Good for building stamina and timing in your weakest section.

Topic tests and topic quizzes

A short test on a single topic, to fix one weakness. Free topic quizzes have 10 questions, about one minute per question and no negative marking. Start one from the syllabus on any exam page, or from your plan.

PYQ mocks (official previous papers)

We host previous-year papers only when the conducting body itself released them publicly, always with attribution and with our own solutions. You can take them as a timed mock. Where the body does not release its papers, for example SSC and IBPS, there are no PYQ mocks, because we never use memory-based papers.

Live mocks

A Live mock is open only during a fixed window, and everyone takes it in that window. The start page shows when it opens; once the window closes, it can't be started. Your rank is among the students who took it in the window, shown once enough of them have (see Reading your test report). The clock starts when you start, and your test ends when your time is up or the window closes, whichever comes first.

Mistake Retest

Built from the mistakes in your Mistake Notebook that are due for revision. Instead of showing you the same question again, we give you a sibling question: a different question on the same topic and concept, at a similar difficulty. If no sibling exists yet, the original comes back. Up to 15 questions, no negative marking. See Mistake Notebook.

Custom Test Builder

On Build a custom test, choose the exam paper, the topics, a difficulty range (D1 to D5), the number of questions (5 to 100) and the time (5 to 180 minutes). We fill it with questions you haven't seen yet first. It uses that paper's marking scheme.

Daily Sprint

10 questions in 10 minutes, free and without logging in. A new set every day for each exam family, the same for everyone that day. No negative marking.

First attempts and re-attempts

Only your first attempt at a test counts for ranks, and only when you are logged in. You can re-attempt any test as often as you like for practice; it just won't change your rank.

What's free and what needs a pass

Free: the Daily Sprint, topic quizzes, one full mock per exam and official PYQ mocks. The full mock series in every level, sectional tests, Mistake Retests and the Custom Test Builder come with an Exam Pass. See Plans, payments, invoices and refunds.

Questions

Which level should I start with?

Start with Basic to find your gaps. Move to Intermediate as your scores settle, and use Advanced in the final weeks to practise under pressure.

Why doesn't my re-attempt get a new rank?

Ranks use first attempts only, so everyone is compared on a paper they are seeing for the first time. Your re-attempt is still scored and gets a full report.

The Custom Test Builder says no questions match my choices.

We only use questions that have passed our checks. Choose more topics or widen the difficulty range and try again.
