1. What We Collect

When you use Successfied, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password — only an irreversible hash).
  • Usage data: which mock tests you attempt, your answers, scores, and time taken — this powers your Successfied Score™ and dashboard.
  • Payment data: we do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details. Payments are processed entirely by Razorpay, our payment partner, who is PCI-DSS compliant. We only store the payment confirmation reference and amount.
  • Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and debugging purposes.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and improve the Platform, calculate your performance analytics, process payments and activate your subscription, communicate important account or payment updates, and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Guest Users

If you take a free mock test without registering, we track your attempt using a temporary, anonymous session identifier (not linked to any personal information) so your progress isn't lost mid-test. If you register later in the same browser session, this guest activity is merged into your new account.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with: Razorpay (for payment processing), and hosting/infrastructure providers necessary to run the Platform (e.g. our web hosting provider). We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Security

Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Access to our database is restricted and protected.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and test history for as long as your account is active, so your performance tracking remains meaningful over time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see Section 8.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
